Voted Commercial Debt Collection Agency of the Year by Credit Today magazine in 2008, 2010 and 2011, Hilton-Baird Collection Services offers a range of commercial debt recovery solutions to the UK’s SME and corporate markets, asset based lenders and Insolvency Practitioners.

Established in 2001, the company has accumulated over a decade’s worth of experience in the debt collection arena and boasts a knowledgeable and professional team that has benefited from constant guidance and training.

In addition, we work closely with our audit team to secure all books, records and electronic data swiftly and efficiently to ensure the best results, helping to formulate the most suitable recovery strategy before following this strategy through to completion.

Alan’s role within the Hilton-Baird Group is as a rapid response resource, as well as transferring his skills and experience to the rest of the Group.

At the forefront of fraud investigation and collateral recovery for over 10 years, she has specialised in sales ledger recoveries with Hilton-Baird Collection Services since 2003. Tenacious and thorough in her approach, she ensures the best result for the client every time. In addition, Nicky possesses over 15 years’ experience as a financial controller and is fluent with most accounting packages. Her skills and expertise have been highly praised by the finance community.

Peter

Commercial Collector of the YearPeter joined the team with an extensive background in commercial debt collection, having managed a team focusing on recovery within the technology sector and additionally brings legal experience to the team from his time with a well-recognised legal firm. There, he managed both commercial and personal debt litigation and also has previous experience within the sub-prime personal debt recovery sector. With exceptional negotiation skills supported by a high level of professionalism, Peter has become a key member of our collections team and was awarded the title Commercial Collector of the Year 2012 by Credit Today magazine.

Charles joined Hilton-Baird Collection Services with a background in the telecoms industry, where he has had experience managing large, time-critical projects as a Project Engineer. Charles brings with him strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as advanced problem-solving skills that are essential in finding innovative debt recovery solutions. With an eye for detail and a persistent approach, Charles is an integral part of the collections team.

Lynda is vastly experienced in debt collection and credit control. Having previously worked in many different industry sectors, she most recently spent five years with Zurich Insurance as a Senior Credit Controller. Lynda draws on this experience in her role heading up our collections activity for SME clients, where she excels at maximising the recovery value for our clients.

Marc is an experienced collector having started his career with HSBC where he provided banking services to the high net worth client portfolio, and subsequently gained specialist recovery experience with HM Revenue & Customs. His impeccable customer service skills and extensive understanding of the recovery process makes him well placed to support the team in ensuring the specific requirements of our SME clients are fulfilled.
