Job Title: Business Analyst

Company: Hilton-Baird Audit & Survey

Location: Nationwide role (home based)

Reports to: Director

Purpose of role:

Hilton-Baird Audit & Survey is looking for a Business Analyst to undertake new business surveys and ongoing audits on behalf of its high profile receivables finance clients.

Based from home, the successful candidate will be prepared to travel extensively (predominately within the UK).

Key responsibilities:

As part of a growing and knowledgeable team, responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking new business surveys, follow up audit visits and any other business reviews
  • Producing timely and accurate reports for clients (Bank and independent funders)
  • Facilitating and recording escalations
  • Networking & corporate hospitality: the candidate will be expected to attend corporate hospitality events from time to time
  • Liaising with other teams within the Hilton-Baird Group

Person specification:

Education:

The candidate will be educated to GCSE standard or above, and would preferably hold business or financial based educational qualifications.

Experience:

The candidate should display a sound understanding of business. Knowledge of the Asset Based Lending market would be an advantage, although not essential. Typically, the candidate would have some form of experience within the business finance sector.

Skills:

The candidate must have excellent teamwork and interpersonal competencies. Time management is a priority within this role.

The ability to perform under pressure and deliver work to set timescales is essential. He or she must be self-motivated, adaptable, dynamic and ambitious; and be able to liaise with other teams within and external to the group. The candidate will be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop.

Job Title: Outbound Funding Consultant

Company: Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions

Location: Roles available in Brighton and Southampton

Salary: £14,000 to £18,000 Per Annum (D.O.E.)

Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm

Reports to: Funding Consultant Team Leader

Purpose of role:

Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions Ltd is a specialist financial brokerage that helps businesses of all sizes to conquer their cash flow challenges by introducing the most suitable funding solutions on the market.

The primary function of the Outbound Funding Consultant is to generate business leads for our brokerage team. This is achieved by making cold/warm calls to prospective clients on our database to introduce us as a business and the array of funding solutions we offer through our funding partners.

The Outbound Funding Consultant will have daily and monthly personal and team targets which they would be expected to meet. The candidate must be able to work well under pressure and to set timescales. They must be able to work as a key member of a team, be self-motivated, focused, adaptable, an excellent communicator, dynamic and ambitious. The candidate will also be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead generation by means of cold and warm telephone calling to generate new clients and identify and develop new sales opportunities.
  • Introduce our services and ascertain if there is any current or longer term funding requirement.
  • Complete a full fact-find, which involves gathering information on the business and discussing the options available to them.
  • Manage and develop their diary, which would include prospective clients.
  • Convert calls into leads for the brokerage team.
  • Manage their workload and prioritise in order to meet personal and business targets.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and professionalism in an effective yet courteous manner.
  • Attend regular team meetings and contribute as appropriate.
  • Maintain a detailed and accurate record of all telephone conversations held.
  • Any duty you may be asked to perform as part of a special project.

Person specification:

Education:

The candidate should be educated to a high standard, ideally to at least A Level education and have a financial / business or telesales background. However, candidates who have achieved GCSE level and have at least 2 years of relevant work experience will also be considered.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a degree of relevant work experience, such as telemarketing, business to business sales, mortgage advisory, insurance, recruitment etc.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • High level of attention to detail
  • A good level of business acumen
  • Computer proficiency – Word, Excel, Outlook and Saleslogix or a similar CRM System
  • Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team

Job Title: Funding Assistant

Company: Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions

Location: Roles available in Brighton and Southampton

Salary: On application

Hours: Flexible - Part Time or Full Time roles available

Office Hours: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

Reports to: Team Leader

Purpose of role:

The primary function of the Funding Assistant is to generate key pieces of information about the businesses on our database. The Funding Assistant is responsible for the initial contact with the potential prospects. The position is target based. The candidate must be able to conduct themselves politely and professionally on the telephone. They will have the ability to work well on their own, be self-motivated and tenacious and to demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead generation using our CRM tool (Saleslogix) to pro-actively market for new prospects and identify and develop new brokerage opportunities.
  • Progress calls into leads for the Funding Consultants and ultimately deals for our funding partners.
  • Manage workloads and prioritise work to meet business targets, personal and team Key Performance Indicators.
  • Maintain detailed and timely records and ensure best practice/highest of standards at all times.
  • Perform against targets individually whilst contributing to the overall productivity of the team.
  • Build rapport with the prospects and ascertain important information to assist with our marketing campaigns.
  • Send out targeted marketing campaigns through the use of our CRM tool.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and professionalism whilst dealing with prospective clients.
  • Liaise with all contacts, including all divisions within the Group in a professional, effective and courteous manner.
  • Continue improvement of departmental processes to ensure that customers are processed as smoothly as possible.
  • Identify trends and suggest improvements to team processes and strategy.
  • Any duty you may be asked to perform as part of a special project.
  • Ensure that issues outside the standard processes are escalated to the Team Leader.

The candidate should be educated to A Level or above.

Experience:

The candidate should possess a good telephone manner. Knowledge of the telesales/marketing sector is preferable and ideally, the candidate would have some practical experience within a successful phone based role.
