Novice wins Shooting Day 2012

Despite a grey and wet April day in Rewell Wood, Arundel, Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions’ Shooting Day 2012 was a great success!

Rewell Wood, situated in the South Downs, is a part of the Duke of Norfolk's estate and plays home to some of the rarest breeds of butterflies in the UK, including the Duke of Burgandy.

In this beautiful woodland backdrop, representatives from Close Brothers Invoice Finance, ABN AMRO Commercial Finance, Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, Team Factors Ltd, Bibby Financial Services, HSBC, Aldermore and Leumi ABL put their speeds of reaction to the test with a morning of clay pigeon shooting.

Shooting is hungry work and once all the rounds were fired, the rain coats came off and the group of 12 indulged in a delightful three course a la carte meal at Cassons Restaurant in the village of Tangmere.

ABN AMRO Commercial Finance's Tom Fox astounded everyone, by his incredible performance and was named the winner, on what was his first ever attempt at shooting, with a remarkable score of 38 out of 40.

Evette Orams, Managing Director of Hilton-Baird Financial Solutions, said: “The day was a complete success and we were thrilled that all of our guests were able to join us.

"At Hilton-Baird we believe that strong partnerships are key to success, which is why it is vital that we work closely alongside our funding partners, to ensure mutual success and so these types of team building activities are important as well as much fun!"
