Golf and Shooting Day 2012

19/06/2012

On a scorching day in June, 63 golfers and 16 shooters took part in Hilton-Baird Group’s second annual Golf and Shooting Day at Remedy Oak golf club, Dorset.

The glorious sunshine lit up Remedy Oak, allowing our guests to add some colour to their complexions whilst they were either tackling the rough of the golf course or taking aim at the shooting range.

After a delightful three course dinner, the awards presentations began.

In the shooting event James John, Rob Elsey and Tim Sowry from Barclays, and Hilton-Baird’s Ian Tramaseur won the team prize with a whopping 109 hits, with Ian also scooping the top gun prize after hitting 35 clays out of 48.

The golf team prize was awarded to the impressive quartet of Alex Cadwallader of Leonard Curtis, SME Invoice Finance’s John Wilde, Edward Rimmer from Bibby Financial Services and Martin Austin of First Capital Factors. See team photos here...

In the individual contest, third place went to Mark Driscoll of Hitachi Capital, John Wilde claimed second place and in a deserving first place, with a Stableford score of 42, was Alex Cadwallader.

Congratulations to all of the winners and, from everyone at Hilton-Baird, thank you to all of our guests for making the second Hilton-Baird Lenders and Advisors Golf and Shooting Day such an enjoyable and memorable occasion.
