Peter Hepburn wins award

Peter was shortlisted alongside illustrious opposition, including collection specialists from Moreton Smith, Barclaycard and HM Revenue & Customs. But with the aid of numerous glowing testimonials from clients, Peter came out on top to become the second member of Hilton-Baird Collection Services to claim the prize in three years after Charlotte Christie won the award in 2010.

He was nominated for the prize by Managing Director of Hilton-Baird Collection Services, Alex Hilton-Baird, for his outstanding work in recovering a variety of debts on behalf of the SME and corporate market over past 12 months in particular.

Alex commented: "This award is testament to Peter being an indispensable member of the team. It is a great honour to have such a skilled commercial collector at Hilton-Baird. He thoroughly embraces our ethos and prides himself on being a dependable and trustworthy resource for our clients.

"Peter also played a major part in the company's successes of 2011, a year in which we took on more clients than ever before and collected a record sum of unpaid invoices. Within the company and across our client base we are all hugely appreciative of Peter's efforts and it is extremely satisfying to see his work recognised on this scale."

The annual awards ceremony, which was attended by the industry's leading credit professionals, was held at Grosvenor House on Park Lane and hosted by comedian Al Murray.
